What is the The Adjustment Bureau About?

The Adjustment Bureau is a thrilling story about a politician named David Norris (Matt Damon) who falls in love with a ballerina named Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt), but some kind of unforseen forces are preventing David from getting close to her. He is told by men with hats, known as the The Adjustment Bureau, that his rightful fate is at risk if he pursues his love for Elise and that all his hopes of becoming a successful politician or her becoming a successful ballerina are ruined if the two plan to get together. He learns that his fate has already been planned and when David realises that he is in love with the beautiful ballet dancer, the mysterious men follow him and try to stop him from being with her. These men are known to work for God. David realises that he cannot be without Elise and goes against fate, challenging the men that are following him. The movie then becomes thrilling and exciting to watch.

The Setting, Acting and Visual Effects

The movie is set in New York where buildings are used in the setting for visual effects. In the movie, men from The Adjustment Bureau are seen going in out of doors, which takes them to a different place in New York each time. These visual effects are incredible and this is what makes this movie so believable. Matt Damon gives a brilliant performance of a character that has just discovered the truth about how fate and destiny works. He brings a thrilling mystery to life, making the movie an exciting one to watch.
